In this sermon preached by Phillip Slaughter (the final sermon of the series from Philippians: Being the Church, Together), Paul teaches the importance of being content in all circumstances (in times of abundance and need). He thanks the Philippians for partnering with him and helping supply his needs. We should look for opportunities to partner in ministry and meet the needs we see. Paul encourages them by reassuring them that God will bless their generosity and will supply all their needs. Phillip discusses the difference between what God means by “need” and what we perceive as “need”.
