In this sermon preached by Phillip Slaughter, we begin our verse by verse journey through 1 John. We specifically look at why we should listen to what John has to say about Jesus (the word of life). In addition, in the first four verses of this letter, John introduces some of the reasons he chose to write it: 1) So we can have fellowship with one another 2) So we can have fellowship with God 3) So our joy can be complete.
